To view the saved data from a previous installation of PhilCRIS in the newly installed PhilCRIS, you will typically need to locate the backup or data file from the previous installation. Here are general steps you can follow:

  1. Locate the Backup or Data File: Look for the PhilCRIS backup or database file on your computer. This could be in a default backup folder specified by the program, or wherever you might have manually saved backups.

  2. Transfer the File: Copy the backup/data file to a location on the same computer where the new PhilCRIS is installed, if it is not already there.

  3. Import Data: Open the newly installed PhilCRIS, and use the import or restore function to bring in the old data. This option is usually available in the program's menu, titled something like "Restore Data" or "Import Backup."

  4. Follow Program-Specific Instructions: If PhilCRIS has specific documentation or instructions on how to restore or import data, follow those guidelines, as they will be tailored to the software's needs.

If you encounter issues or need specific guidance, it might be useful to contact PhilCRIS support or consult their user documentation for detailed instructions.

To fix a database source error in PhilCRIS, you can try the following steps:

  1. Check Database Connection: Ensure that the database server is running and that you are connected to the network. Verify the database connection settings in the PhilCRIS configuration.

  2. Review Error Message: Look for specific error codes or messages as provided by PhilCRIS. These can often indicate the exact issue.

  3. Driver and Software Updates: Make sure that the necessary database drivers and the PhilCRIS software itself are up to date.

  4. Permissions: Ensure that the user account trying to access the database has the necessary permissions.

  5. Reinstall or Repair: Consider reinstalling or repairing the PhilCRIS application if the problem persists.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, consider reaching out to the PhilCRIS support team for further assistance.

What are the default user name and password of PhilCRIS? I can't open it. Thanks in advance.

A
Answer by Alex Urbach

I believe that you have to contact the developers in order to find out how to log-in into the application. Based on what I saw, it appears there is no public username and password. You will have to register with the National Statistics Office in order o obtain a user and password and then you can log-in.

Use the following page to get in touch with the developers: http://web0.psa.gov.ph/directory

Also, you can use the Civil Registration link as well: http://web0.psa.gov.ph/civil-registration-page

The only thing I've found for PhilCRIS is a PDF file which explains various problems and solutions to them.

Use the following link to download the PDF file: http://www.freewebs.com/nsoquezon/nsosofts/PhilCRIS_FAQs.pdf

You also need a compatible PDF reader installed on your PC or device: http://software.informer.com/search/pdf+reader
